Licensing and Policies​

Children must be fully potty-trained by September 6th 2025.

We are not licensed for daily napping, but we do have "Cloud Time" which allows the children a body break and some relaxion time.

Your child must be a minimum of 30 months old at the time of registration.

We are limited to 4 spaces for children 30 to 36 months of age, year round, under our licensing.

We are registered in the Child Care Fee Reduction Initiative and the prices you see listed on our Fee Guide reflect the parent price.

If applying for Affordable Child Care Benefits, full fees are still required in September and you will be reimbursed if subsidy is approved.

Payment Options
We accept cash, cheque and eTransfer to fees@kis.ca
* Square is used to make creditcard and debitcard payments. The fees per transaction are 3.4% + 15¢.

** The 2025/2026 KIS Childcare Program is currently full.**
The link for the public registration waitlist for the KIS Childcare Program will be opened on April 12, 2025 here on our website.
Registration is tiered on a priority system and is not first-come, first-served.

The priority system is as follows:
Priority 1: Currently enrolled child in the KIS Childcare program that is returning to KIS Childcare program.
​
Priority 2: Current KIS family with new child to be enrolled with sibling enrolled in either childcare or school programming for 25/26 (the sibling must maintain enrollment in order to maintain the childcare spot).
​
Priority 3: Current KIS family who is enrolling a new child but do not have a sibling at KIS for the 25/26 year.
​
Priority 4: Public registration.
